Susan AKA Basiik

Ah, where to start? A lot of people know me as "Basiik". Pronounced "basic", actually. Since I was 12 it was my online alias, and eventually carried over into the company, so... Basiik is a person and a company, I guess. Awesome. My name is Susan.

I was born in the great state of Texas, but I'm attending college in Minnesota. Art college. You better believe it. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candle-lit dinners... etc. Lol. I also enjoy lollin'. I try to make my life one big LOL, because its way more fun that way.

These photos should provide some deep insight into my seriously intense life. Not really. I mean, theres a picture of a plant and some cats. I guess my life is about cats? Oh man. Lame.

One day I would like to meet Conan O'Brien, and show him a picture of my cat, because I named him after him. Ultimate lame. Or ultimate awesome. You tell me.

(this is Taiko, a cat I left behind in Texas. So nice is he that we made a hat out of him.)

(So I got two kitties to live with me in Minnesota instead. Lol.)

Brian AKA Gun Sleep

Whenever Basiik hits up the conventions, people notice that I sell along side with her. Name's Brian, aka Gun Sleep, and I am her older brother. We are duo's of the cute and cool. And, in a way, we are best friends.

Born on the sweltering plains of Texas, I was found (abandoned) and raised by coyotes; growing up as a wild, blood-thristy child. Well, thats not exactly what happened, but I was born in Texas. It wasn't around the age of nineteen, when I realized I had an eye for creativity, a hand to draw, and a mind for the bizzare. So I jumped onto the Boshi Basiik wagon as an artist for some of our products, started on a clothing-project line, and picked up on graffiti art, while attending college. If you are living in Dallas, be sure to keep an eye out for some of my work on the streets!
