First off, sorry for the delay in updates; we’ve are caught in our whirlwind of summer / fall conventions. This weekend we will be in the dealer’s room at MECHACON in New Orleans!! We’ve never been to either the city nor the show so it’s a first time road trip adventure for Brian and I! No worries, we will make it there and home with plenty of cute to offer!

Right after Mechacon is a home town show for us, ANIMEFEST right here in downtown Dallas!!

And then we will be at NAN DESU KAN for our first time ever, in the artist alley, the week after! Three shows back to back… to back! WHEW!! We will be sewing and prepping and doing our best to make sure we are stocked up on all of our shows. ALSO our BRAND NEW SITE is launching at the start of next month- so exciting!! Get ready for a TOTAL SITE MAKE OVER! You will love it, we love it and we think it’ll be easier for our customers to use and keep in touch with us!

Lots of exciting things, but we’ve gotta pack for our road trip! See you guys out there!!

Hello everyone!! Katsuon and Naka-Con has come and gone, and both conventions were great! staff was professional and courteous, which is always wonderful! We want to say THANK YOU to both customers who stopped by during the weekend, as well as staff and volunteers at conventions everywhere- we wouldn’t have cons without em!

Brian and I split up for the weekend since Naka Con was the same weekend. We debuted our new batch of hand made jewelries at these shows and were so pleased to see our creations well received! Thanks you guys!

My FAV cosplay all weekend- these Pokemon costumes were SOOO CUTE!! I can’t lie, I love the pokemon gijinka fad that’s been going on because you get to see the creativity of the cosplayer. Anyways, LOVE LOVE LOVE! It was a lot of fun, REALLY WINDY!! Can’t wait to come back to Maryland later this year for OTAKON!

Ikkicon in Austin has come and gone- thanks to everyone who stopped by and checked us out!! Brian recently got his hands on a new toy- a snazzy little camera in which he put together this film short- check it out! Great song, really cute video. It’s probably safe to say we’ll see more videos from him in the future!!

If you’ve visited our store recently, you’ll notice some new hats and new style of photos for our products! In time all of our products will be shot in the same style, against a white background, to make it easier for our customers to admire the product and the product alone!

I know, we kind of got distracted in our conventions to update the site… since our last update we’ve attended FOUR shows: Anime Weekend Atlanta, Realms Con, New York Comic Con and now Youmacon. Let’s start back in Atlanta- we’ve been doing AWA for 5 years now and we have always had a blast there!! We were in the dealer’s room, met a lot of awesome peeps and old friends!

Everyone loves the chicken! Mmm… suddenly a little hungry… nomnom….

Homie on the right is a repeat customer, had to come back for more hats this year, and he brought a friend who picked out a frog hat, good choice! Thanks guys!! Ok, now I have to share the best cosplay I saw all weekend at Atlanta… but I may be biased since I DO love Disney films…

Pretty friggin’ awesome. Anyhow, as usual, Atlanta came and went and we were back home prepping for our next show, Realms Con in Corpus Christi, TX.

Most people expected, as a Dallas, TX resident, that I’d drive to Corpus since it is in the same state. HECK NO. From Dallas, it takes 7 HOURS. If I were driving north, in 7 hours I might be in Missouri. But in Texas you just drive around within the state forever because it’s so epic and huge. Needless to say we got there, and, having never been to Corpus, it was beautiful! Gorgeous waters, very quiet, historic downtown, and, of course, great customers!
